Edwin L. Harless, PhD

Edwin Harless, PhD, earned his MS and PhD degrees in audiology from Divison of Hearing and Speech Sciences, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He was Chief of the Audiology and Speech Pathology Service at the VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC, for 22 years. Currently, he works as a fee-basis audiologist at the VA health Care Center in Kernersville, NC. He is a retired Lt. Colonel, Medical Service Corps, NC Army National Guard, and he served previously two terms on the NC Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists. He is active with AAA-NC, and he served on an NC General Assembly House Bill Task Force to develop consumer guidelines for purchasing hearing aids. He received his ABA Board Certification in 2002.
